First up we've got the Lakai Guy Mariano Highs (which feature the same vulcanized sole with a herringbone pattern just like the Picos we got back in the fall)
Along with the Marianos, we've got the Higly Anticipated, Mike MO Shoes. (Just like the Mariano Highs, this shoe has a one-piece toebox to help fight blowouts, but the sole on these shoes has the new XLK update to give you more cushion for the pushin!)

19-Aug-09- New skate stuff- It just doesn't stop, does it?New Krux Trucks,Tons of new Royal Trucks, New Blank wheels,And new Girl Decks. We also received a whole whack of other stuff Not pictured, Like Atm Logo Decks, Independent Trucks, Thunder Team Highs, Lows, and New Thunder Lights and some other stuff that has since evaded my memory.

07-Aug-09-More Skate Stock-We just recieved some of the brand new Eco-Soy Momentum Wheels. The wheels are made using a 25% soy based compound which rely less on non-renewable fossil fuels. Cool beans indeed. In in other Wheel news, we've got more of the most durable wheels out there, the Bones STF formulas. Along with these wheels we've got some of the new Bones Reds Ceramics Bearings. These are a slightly more afforable option compared to the Bones swiss Ceramics, but still remain out of most skaters price range. In deck news, we just recieved Some New Zero Boardsand

02-July-09- The Day after Canada Day-Wow, what a hangover, and i didn't even party? To celebrate feeling like crap, we got a bunch of new goodies in the shop. First up we got some new Krooked decks, scope out the Bobby Worrest pro model!   We also unpacked new Venture & Thunder trucks, including some Thunder 149ers, for any you Andre Rene Roussimoff  wannabes skating an 8.5" deck or bigger.  Also in the box were some new ATM logo wheels.


30-june-09-Lakai Shoes-The new Mike Mo Capaldi "MO Knows" colorway of the Commerce LK shoes have shown up, and they're awesome. These will be gone faster than Namskas money in Sneaky Petes in Minneapolis, MN., so hurry!

26-June-09-NEW VIDEO!!!!-Knock Knock! Who's There? The Zoo York Video! The Zoo York video who? The Zoo York Video,State of Mind! that's who, better recognize. Back in the ZooYork Mixtape days, I  had just moved to ThunderBay and my best friend Craig gave me a Peter Bici Deck. One day while Craig and i were skating street downtown Port Aurthur we ran into our friend Taisto on St.Paul street. Taisto asked to "borrow" my skateboard to do a couple tre-bombs. Craig told me not to let him use it, but i did anyways. Two or three tries later,Snap!, he broke my deck. It was right in front of where Darrens new skateshop 4Fourteen is now. I wonder how many kids Taisto did that to? Too many i bet.
I think he might still owe me a board from that day? If you ever read this Taisto, can you find me this ZOO DECK?

25-june-09 Habitat Decks- I was just talking to your mom over brunch this morning about how rad MIke McDermott is, and them POW! We get a couple of his Habitat decks in the shop today. That's crazy right?? It may sound crazy, but Yes your mom eats brunch, but that's not all! She said you should come down here and buy Mikes deck so you might get it Autographed this weekend at the skate demo!If you wait too long, the decks will be gone, but don't cry( yeah, she told me about your crying)for we've got 4 other new Habitat Skateboards that woud love to come home with you, unlike the ladies you hang with.Yup, she mentioned that too....she actually thinks you should start hanging out with the Wallick Twins. If that doesn't work, we're handing you over to the Namska!

23-june-09 Es & Emerica Shoes! I just unpacked the new Es Accel TT High shoes in Orange. They come with a velcro strap, but i took them off for the picture to show you how sick they look without it. These are gonna go quick, so hurry up. Besides those, we got the New Emerica Francis Low shoes in the Limited Edition BluePrint Colorway. Watch our for the new emerica team video Stay Gold that will be coming out in the near future.

10-june-09-Lakai Telefords- I don't know how, but somehow i forgot all about these shoes, and then whAM! They show up and make all the other shoes jealous. These shoes are gonna last about as long as Scott Wallick and his Girlfriends' relationship, so hurry up! 9-June-09-Royal Trucks & Girl Decks- If you've been looking for some Royal Evo trucks , well we just got a fresh batch in, including some wider pairs to fit wider decks, and everyone knows that 8"decks are sooo hot right NOW. I actually sold 2 pairs of these right after this photo was taken, so hurryGo scope out the Royal Team Page, it's pretty crazy how big their team is. Click on the International Team square and you'll see the 3 Canadian Royal Team Riders, Including Jai Ball from Studio Skateboards, sick!

Along with the royal trucks, we got some New Girl Tone on Tone decks, and more Guy Mariano Shark Attack boards. I had more Tone on Tone decks, but i sold a couple before i could take a picture. This selling stuff right out of the box before it makes it to the shelf trend has been happening a lot lately.....

25-may-09- Fresh Mini-Logo Decks-A huge box of new Mini-Logo decks showed up with every size from 7.5 through 8. The boards are priced higher than our Shop Decks, but i know a lot of you guys love the shape of these, so here they are.
20-may-09 - New Sk8 Mafia Decks, Momentum Wheel  Teenage Runaway! We just got some brand new Sk8 Mafia decks in the shop yesterday. I was hoping they woulda showed up friday before the video premiere, but better late than never.Along with that we got a new shipment of Momentum Wheels. We had to scoop some new ones up as we blew through the last batch mighty quick, get yours NOW! Along with all this other new product are some wheels from Teenage Runaway. If you buy any of these run the graphics inside out so your mom doesn't them and get pissed off at us.

13-may-09-Girl Family Goodies! I just opened a big box of brand new Girl decks! Make your move fast cause these aren't gonna last long. Speaking of not lasting long, did anyone else see the drunk girl who got the boot from On-Deck last Friday that tried kissing BOTH the Wallick twins! Ask Mike Parkkari, he saw it all go down...

There's a brand new selection of lakai shoes in the shop right now, and some of them are going real fast!First up we have the new Teleford in black/green suede.Next we have the New Manchester Selects in blue, and the Marc Johnson 2 selects in greenHere you can see the Commerce LK in both white/purple suede, and orange/chocolate suede. You need to pick one of these up to understand how unbelieveablly light these shoes are.

02-may-09 New Studio Skateboards and Tees! We just got a new shipment of Studio skateboard decks in and the graphics look better than ever! In case you've been living in a cave for tha past three years, Studio is a Canadian company based out of Montreal, Run by Darrel Smith and Jai Ball.
We've been onboard supporting these guys from day one, and you should support them too! The decks are awesome, and at only $52 you can't really beat the price, plus you'd be supporting a super sick group of guys. 30-apr-09 Dan Ezowske Ari Kormano Shops decks in! Last year I was sitting around thinking how can i help the guys on our skate team make a couple of extra bucks? when it came to me...I'll get each of our 4 team riders to design their own graphics for our shop decks, and PAY them for doing it! 

Sure, I know It's not exactly a mind blowing concept, but look at it this way:  There's close to 800 shops in Canada that sell skateboards, and i bet over half of them don't do much for their local skate scene (contests,events,video premieres etc). I bet even less try to help their Team riders make any money outside of getting them to work at the shop. Working equals less skateboarding, and besides, skate shops don't pay too well..
Heck, anyone can open a shop, and start a skate team, but the longer you're in it, i think the more you should be able to give back to your scene AND your Team. I'd like to think of Static as one of those shops in the top percentile of the Country that tries that much harder. Besides, what better way to say thanks to your shops skate team for all the support they've given over the years than to let the guys have thier own board graphic?  Especially for someone like Dano, he's been on board since day one(no pun intended).

Next time you wanna buy a new deck or some other gear, remember this: There are Two locally owned shops in this town selling skateboards for the RIGHT reasons, Skateboarders are always hungry, and shops like Static and 4Fourteen are here to Feed the Need, but Not the Greed. We may have smaller pockets, but we've got much bigger Hearts and we're trying to make skateboarding better in our city. If you care about skateboarding as much as we do, you'll make the right decision and support a local shop.
