Congrats goes out to Team Rider Dan Ezowske and his long time girlfriend Tammy Hrenchuck who just got married down in the southern hemisphere! Knowing Dan, he's probably skating with his nephew Zach and probably ignoring the family and friends that made the trip down there, a true Skateboarder for life. 29-June-09-Static Sausage Parties 2009! Thats' right! They're back and bigger than ever
Starting this July, we're gonna throw down another series of SIX Huge, FREE, BBQ/Skate Jams at a different
skatepark every Sunday, and this year we`ve enlisted the help of Darren and Catherine from 4fourteen skateshop, and none other than John Kelly from the TBSC.
The BBQ/Skate Jams are gonna run from 3-5pm Starting Sunday July 5th. There's gonna be free Hotdogs, drinks, Prizes, stickers and a fistful of goodtimes. We'll be pumping music outta the boombox so bring your hottest mixtapes(not kidding). 
We're gonna be handing out prizes to people skating hard, having fun, and we'll have stickers, magazines and other prizes for all the people who show up to skate or just chill. Help us put some real fun back into he skateparks in this city and come out for the afternoon. No Helmets, no rules.
And hey, if you don't like hotdogs, bring your own food and cook it up on the bbq!And YES,Just like every other Static Event, Women are invited too, just don't count on any showing up, we don't
24-june-09-Skate Demo!!! That's right! The TBSC is hosting The best Damn skate demo you'll ever witness in ThunderBay to celebrate the Grand Opening of our skate plaza, and it's going down June 27th. Yeah, that's THIS SATURDAY @ NOON.
Get your lazy butt there to witness the annihilation of the Thunderbay Skate plaza by not one, but TWO of the Greatest skate teams in Canada! Antisocial from Vancouver, and Green Apple from Winnipeg will be on hand to skate the plaza, so be there to watch and be a part of skateboarding history in our city!!
22-June-09- Emerica Wild In The Streets! Go to the Emerica Wesbite now and check out photos from this years Wild In The Streets. 
This event makes every go skateboarding day event look like a joke. Not only was the entire emerica team there, but somewhere between 1500 and 2000 skaters were on hand to rip through Vancouver.
